Lauklines is an old traditional former trading post at Kattfjord on Kvaløya, 35 km south west of Tromsø. We have modern highstandard accomodation and meeting facilities, restored according to old traditions. Boats and tackle for hire and sale. Guided trips by our own fishingguide or hikingguide. Welcome to explore the North Norwegian culture and nature.

Accommodation We have 6 highstandard cabins for hire. Each cabin on 100m2 well suitable for 1-6 persons.	Boats We rent out steady and roomy fishingboats. 18 feet with 40 HP and GPS/Chartplotter with echosounder. Safetybox and lifevests included.
Fishing More and more sports fishermen are discovering the possiblities that Northern Norway has to offer. In our tackleshop you can buy or hire lures and other fishing gear for a succesful trip.We have fish preparing sheds and freezing facilities.	Guided activities An eldorado of fantastic fells and mountains - just waiting to be climbed. Islands and skerries to explore.
Sauna Mental and physical relaxation and bathing in our hot sauna. Capacity: 6 persons.	Seminars/Theme Courses Dare to do something different! Why not arrange your next conference or meeting at Lauklines? Let nature be the inspiration. We have local contacts that can arrange many different activities.
Birdwatching Fantastic area for birdwatching. Lauklines island close by is a protected bird reserve from May until August. Therefore there is abundant bird life, among them sea eagles as one of our closest neighbours.	Hunting Lauklines is placed within exclusive hunting areas, grouse and other game. Hire of guide and hunting dog available.
Family holidays Lauklines is well suited to a family holiday. Children learn to appreciate nature at close hand. Boat and fishing trips, mountain hikes, exploring the skerries. Stone and shell collecting, discovery walks on the shoreline.	The Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) Flames of light stretch across the sky. A glowing curtain of light forms, waving and swirling above you. Lauklines is perfectly located on the globe to give you a thrilling experience.

The trading post has been carefully preserved and re-creates the special atmosphere as it was in the early 1900s, with a salt loft, herring oil steamer, fish cleaning sheds, pump house, electric generator and the old general store.
